In Czech, a pharmacy is „lékárna". Most are open Mon-Fri roughly 8:00-18:00; Saturdays are shorter and many are closed on Sundays. Every listed pharmacy has its own page with exact opening hours - including public holidays. Emergency out-of-hours service is called pohotovost.
Prescription medicines require a Czech or EU e-prescription. Common over-the-counter medicines (painkillers like ibuprofen or paracetamol, antihistamines, cold remedies) are available without a prescription - but only in pharmacies, not in supermarkets.
